LivWell CARES is a Quad-Cities 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides free, reliable, comprehensive information, referral and placement services to low income seniors as they make life-impacting decisions and navigate the complex and confusing world of eldercare. Our support includes, but is not limited to, an understanding of senior-related financial and legal issues, documentation and eligibility for resources, and placement for senior apartments, assisted living, long term care, skilled nursing facilities, and home care services. 10,000 Baby Boomers are turning 65 every day in the U.S. and the senior landscape is changing fast. LivWell CARES (Compassionate Advocacy & Resources for Every Senior) provides free, personalized placement services, information, and resource referral services to low-income seniors and those seeking long-term nursing care, by working together to connect them with senior living solutions and resource referrals that meet their specific needs.

Our vision is to serve economically disadvantaged seniors with dignity, compassion, and respect by providing them with free personalized services as they navigate the complex world of eldercare and senior living solutions.

The NEED for ADVOCACY is NOW

An identifiable gap in services for Quad Cities area seniors is recognized by our local area-on-aging agencies as well as hospitals and healthcare providers that serve the elderly population. There is no eldercare expert in our community to advocate for and guide our economically disadvantaged seniors as they navigate the complex and confusing world of senior resources and senior living options. Local agencies are referring economically disadvantaged seniors and their families to LivWell CARES on a consistent and increasing basis for help in finding appropriate senior living solutions. We collaborate with these agencies to get low-income seniors the help they need. As Baby Boomers continue to age, these numbers will increase. These senior citizens have lived, worked, and raised their families here in the Quad Cities, helping to make our community to what it is today. It’s time for us to give back and help these seniors in their time of need.
